For this prize I close the book "The Hi-Fi and Tape Recorder Handbook" that was published in 1969. This was one of my first books that contained electronic circuits and and the type technical information that I would continue to work on in later years as an Electronics Design Engineer.

I am still trying to find the chapter on digital sound techniques and there is absolutely no mention of CDs but ther is a useful section on finding "Faults in Valve Amplifiers".
